In The Makassar City Museum, it holds several collections of goods, Thats:
-Earth Map. This map marks areas that had abundant natural resources at that time.

-Map of Somba Opu Fortress Visitors can see a map of Somba Opu Fortress dating to 1638 in this museum.

-Relief of Portraits of Queen Wilhelmina and Juliana
 One of the most interesting collections in this museum is a portrait of Queen Wilhelmina and her daughter, Juliana.  Queen Wilhelmina was the Queen of the Netherlands from 1898 to 1948. She refused Indonesian independence

-Photo of Historic Worship House
 There are some photos of houses of worship that save history in Makassar City, namely Katangka Mosque, Makmur Melayu Mosque, and the Cathedral Church.  Katangka Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in South Sulawesi

-Chinese and Japanese Ceramic Collection
 Since ancient times, Makassar has been known by its great sailors.  They go to sea to foreign countries, one of them to China.  During that time, the Ming Dynasty (14th to 17th centuries) came to power and gave gifts of beautiful ceramics from China and Japan to Makassar sailors.
