10).MAKAM PAHLAWAN NASIONAL PANGERAN DIPONEGORO



Prince Diponegoro died on January 8, 1855 at the age of 69 years.  While his faithful wife accompanied him during his exile, RA Ratu Ratna Ningsih, died in 1865. Their tombs were side by side. When he was exiled, Diponegoro also took along all his children, loyal guards, and a number of members of his struggle army.  One of them is the confidant, Tumenggung Dipasana. And While in Makassar, Diponegoro's children married and edited a number of nobles in kingdoms throughout South Sulawesi.  In this grave, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and direct descendants are also buried.  A total of 60 tomb , For now the tomb of the hero Diponegoro is not opened to the public, only a few can get inside.
